INTRODUCTION TO THE INSTITUTE
The Dato Leadership Institute provides coaching and consulting to business and professional clients which focuses on career and personal development issues. Clients participating in our programs develop greater self-understanding, better decision-making, greater self-discipline, and calmer emotional reactions. Many of our clients are especially interested in maximizing their leadership abilities. We teach a novel approach to leadership that we call Transferential Leadership. This psychoanalytic approach to leadership is the most sophisticated approach to leadership available today. The proprietary methodology that we have developed is known as Functional Psychoanalytic Coaching.
OUR COACHING & CONSULTING PROGRAMS
Programs are goal directed and custom designed for each client. The key program components include: (1) Weekly coaching sessions, or biweekly consulting sessions; (2) Need assessment before each session; (3) Psychoanalytic theories and concepts; (4) Free brief phone and/or email consultations between sessions. Programs are completed when the goals of the client have been achieved to his or her complete satisfaction. Programs are held at the Institute for our local clients, and by phone for our national and international clients. Local clients may choose to work exclusively by phone. Coaching and consulting is conducted by Dr. Robert Dato.
HOW TO ENROLL IN THE INSTITUTE
The process of enrolling in one of our programs begins with your call to Dr. Dato. He will schedule a free one-hour Initial Interview, which can be held at the Institute or by phone. The interview has three objectives. The first objective is to determine the compatibility between you and your coach. The second objective is to review the Institute contract. The third objective is to determine and prioritize your goals. If you and your coach mutually agree that you are compatible and comfortable, if you agree to comply with the terms of the contract, and if you have goals the coach believes he can help you achieve, then you are very well qualified to become a client.
